Is the saleen wing supposed to fit like this?

Nope, it looks like you have a notchback so here is a pic. Are you sure its not for a hatch? What brand is it???

umm the guy i bought it from said he got it off a vert, but a vert and notchback should be the same wing, becuase i believe the lids are pretty much the same, but that just doesnt fit right. Thats on a vert trunklid. Damn, that kind of makes me mad now.

I'm going to assume its a for a hatch i guess?

 

They are the same. That is why things like that come advertised notch/vert. Go measure the wing from the outside of the legs and tell me what you get. My has mounting area is about 56 inches at the end of the hatch. Either it is just that shi&&y of a make or it is for a hatch. I havn't ever seen one for an SN body so what else could it be?

ya its 55 1/2 - 56 inches give or take. So it must be for a hatch. Is that the only difference between the two wings, or is the angle of the wing or anyhting different also?

I think the angle is a little bit different so that the wing lays almost flat.

 

This is a convertible wing on my notch. It is installed on the notch trunk, I added the 3rd brake light. Yes the notch and vert lids are the same I have used a vert lid on this car before with this wing. The wing is not suppose to over lap the edges I wold say you have a Hatch wing, the pedestals sit out more on the hatch because the edge of the hatch over laps to match the side of the car unlike a Notch /Vert trunk.

 

Go wingless, they look better w/o!
