I have saved a few bucks and considering some new goodies for my 85 GT.
First option is a new set of Weld Alumastar 2.0's for the front. These are a thinner spoke and alot lighter than the standard Alumastars I have now...



Second option is a 4" cowl hood to replace my 2" cowl I have now. By doing this, not only will it look more aggressive...but it will allow me to run an air cleaner...



Finally, I was thinking if I do the hood...I might like to do the factory 85-86 good decal in charcoal black...

cowl hood but if your all about racing go with the lighter wheels

The wheels, they're not gonna be light enough compared to the current ones to make a noticable difference.

 

Well Im no help because I was looking at those rims in a Jegs catalog right before I read this so thats my biased pick...but if you go with the hood def get the decal. Heck just buy both

 

where do you live I have a new 4" cowl for my 86 I decided to keep my 2"

 

I would do the hood and decal!

I'm not a fan of 4" cowls, so I'd say the rims. Plus the 2" cowl looks fine.
