how much does it cost to have gears installed i have a auto trany and what gear should i get 94 gt

 

373 gears if not 4.10

You can purchase the gear for between $169-189. Depending on hour much the shop you go to charges by the hour, I would say no more than $150 to install. It's well worth the investment, especially with an AOD. I wouldn't go bigger or smaller than 373s. Only get 410s if you have a tranny cooler.

 

I think shops charge around $350-$400 to install

performance shops. use the phone book and call all of them and get quotes.
