Mine was stock until i dropped the clutch at a light and the clutch pedal went to the floor...that was an interesting drive home let me tell you!

you dont have to remove the springs to get the quadrant off.
Once you have the cable disconnected from the clutch fork, you reach up under the dash with a pair of needle nose pliers, pull out the two pins that hold the quadrant in place. Release the pawl, and slide the quadrant off to the side.
I pulled a quad from a fox, and installed it in another in 35 minutes. Including the time it took me to disconnect the cables!

I'm 250 lbs. I did it fairly quick without removing my seat. You just have to keep adjusting yourself untill youfind that sweet spot that makes enough room for you to work.
