Need opinions!!
Well i can understand if its a good price there, but here.... well for a wrecked stang it just isn't
But yeah, i would have it professionally looked at by somebody to make sure the frame tip top shape, then give him an offer of 5k or so.
See what he does.
my friend was looking at a 1998 supercharged cobra, he originally wanted 14, they talked him down to 10.5
Anything is possible, and if its a good price to you, And **YOU** like and are willing to pay that much for it, WHY NOT?

Uh oh...
Well I was getting tired of looking at over priced mustangs so i typed in ... camaro. And Found one that Im going to check out tomorrow. Idunno if I could buy a camaro, Ive always like mustangs and know nothing about camaros. But here's the ad if you guys wanna see it. I talked to the guy and he didnt sound like he knew a lot about it. He said he had it for about 6 months, and when he got it serviced they told him it had a corvette LS1 engine. Which is weird since they didn't come stock in camaros until 98. I figured he meant LT1 and didnt know the difference, but he mentioned "corvette" engine. So maybe someone did a swap.
1996 Camaro Z28 LS1 6 speed Center force clutch
T Tops (Don't leak)
All tinted
Hurst short shifter
166KMS
No leather
Just serviced at Corvette Specialties & Flag 1. New back breaks
Richmond Racing rear end
Racing exaust
Strut tower bar
Serious power for the dollar

Ha ha I know I know. I never thought I'd even think of a camaro. But this one is a decent price, faster and looks alright. I hate the 98 camaros. But I figure theirs no harm in checking it out. And if it actually has an LS1... damn that would feel nice. I have no clue how to tell the difference between an LT1 and LS1 tho..
LS1's are fast, stay away from the LT1. KEEP THE FOX!!!!!!!
LT1, ditributor is cam driven on the front of the engine and the cap and rotor are behind the waterpump. Over $100 just for a dizzy cap. 1/2 of the engine is buried under the cowl. I tuned one up once and after 4 hrs, I said never again.

Lol, I kinda like that hood on a camaro. But only on a camaro. Something seems fishy about the guy, he posted the ad 6 times in one month. Started it at 7k then raised the price to 8.5k then dropped to 6k, then to 5k. And when I talked to him on the phone he said he was selling because he lost his license, but in one of the posts it says he's selling because he is moving. And in another post it says he's willing to trade for a turbo rx7..... But I guess I will find out when I see it tomorrow... If I make it back. The mustang I looked at was in the same sort of area (surrey, BC) and on my way there yesterday when I got off the skytrain some dude got stabbed! I got there like 2 minutes after. There were 2 cops trying to stop the bleeding and then 5 min later a flood of cops showed up. It was nuts.
Well I went and looked at the camaro and good news
It was a piece o' ****...
Not a chance Im buying it. Looks like its been beat on big time. It was a Lt1, could tell right when he popped the hood. It was missing the air filter and frayed wires were everywhere. There was front end damage and the fender was a slightly different green too... It used to be a race car, apparently at one time it had a roll cage and it has a bunch of holes in the dash from gauges. The funniest part was when the guy was leaving, I told him to show me what the cars got, so he did a burnout and killed the car HAHAHA. it stalled right after and he couldn't get it going again. I pushed him to the side of the road and check the car out for him (the guy was an idiot, Im half his age, never seen an LT1 before and I was able to do more) I checked for fuel pressure and found it was getting at least some fuel. So I figured theres probably something wrong with the fuel. But I had to go. So pretty much it was the biggest waste of 3 hours.
