Default Buying a Cool Air intake

Any recommendations on whether to buy online or from an auto parts store? Price, quality, etc...

Also, any recommended brands?

You can remove air silencer andput in a K&N filter for 50.00 or you can put in CAI for 120.00+.
Either way you go, your're only gonna gain a horse or two. I pulled my air silencer and threw in a cheap Fram air filter, it sounded bad *** along with better throttle response. Two weeks later I put in a MAC CAI, did not notice any difference and I lost the cool sound of my air silencer being removed.

exactly what I was gonna say...

remove air silencer... a screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time

K&N filter=50 bucks...

in reality a CAI for a fox is more visual than functional, cuz you can do the same thing with stock parts... my car only has Ram Air cuz the previous owner put it on....

This is a 94 GT btw.

Thats funny cause I replaced the stock filter with a K&N already but the silencer is still there.

In fact, I'm not quite sure what a silencer is. But if its easy to remove then sweet.

I just finished installing my BBK CAI, and it's not all that, don't get me wrong I like it and I can feel a difference in throttle response plus it has a cool whistle when I smash but other than that it's pretty similar to stock.

go to http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/and look at there power pipes, combine that with a throttle body, and mass air and you should see some gain. I have one and my old cold air could fully fit inside of theres its insane, and the quality is also great!
