60-120 in under 4 seconds is stock......for a Porsche Cerrera GT maybe. Like I said though, most LS1 cars out there that run folks, prolly aren't stock.

LSx's are no joke really. It's extremely easy to make them into 10 second cars with a few bolt ons. And they can handle a 250 shot of juice with ease. I try not to mess with them unless I'm in the WRX, then it's just funny to embarrass them in an import.

yeah, the z28 i saw was NOT stock.

ive ran a couple LT1's in my old '93 auto hatch.

almost every race was dead even, but that car weighed 3100lbs and pushed about 220rwhp.

Most of the LS1 F Bodies I see at the track are running low 12's down to mid 11's. There's plenty of quick ones out there.

Hopefully, if all goes according toplan i will havemost of the partsof a nastyengine that will make z06's look slow, it wont be in a car but it willjust about be all there. Course its not a windsor based engine, but all the same. Those ls1's are very good motors, ford based for sure. So of course they are gonna be fast.

I'm above such childish horse play with whimpy ls-1's I go after zo-6's
Even though a stock LS7 on street rubber will rape you by .5 ET or better? [8D]

Provided it's driven well that is. Or have you run the 347 again and got better times?
at the meet last saturdat there were numerous z0-6's there ....don't ask me why they were at a mustang meet it's a long story...and the best they trapped was 115............trust me I'm not scared of a zo-6 and if one started to give me doubts a quick reach behind the seat a with one twist all my fears would subside[sm=nxsmile.gif]

Go after the GTO before a Camaro or Firebird. The heavy weight and IRS hurts those cars.
