I smell bull****!

lets all remember that AODE is the guy who couldn't get his flexplate on b/c the bolt holes were "not lining up"... so he drilled one of them out and threw his motor out of balance.

no, im NOT kidding

ORIGINAL: aode08

got her installed gang!! PILOT bearing AND RACE removed from crank and my AUTO trans went in fine! also drilled extra hole in flywheel to make it fit, this blocks, crank bolt pattern.

MY NEW CUSTOM CAM has characteristics of the trick flow stage one camshaft. And my heads are STAGE 3, Extremely race ported.

NOW THE ISSUE Engine is shaking the steering wheel and fenders etc, its got a real scary idle and is NOT THE SAME CAR, and when you rev, you can still feel the vibration through the drivetrain, and it feels as if a bunch of horsepower is there.

Its like a powerfull rotating mass vibration, never experienced this, but idle is steady.

Its this normal behavior? or WTF?

That's the reason I don't let anyone touch my car, truck, or motorcycle aside from me.

I can see a slight power gain from swapping the direction of offset pin pistons, like woodsy said, it mimics a longer rod. But also like he said, with all the modern stuff it's not needed, I'm actually running a long rod 302 with very light pistons due to the plethora of parts available today, and I don't have to worry about any pistons slapping since it didn't invlove putting pistons in backwards.

But yeah, this thread is pretty much over.

So this started out a decent thread, but now is being trashed by personal attacks.
