jacking up car???

Default jacking up car???

k guys i need help, i need to get my car about 2 feet in the air, got a jack and stands to get it there the only question is how to get hte front up? i have a tubular k member so i cant jack on that, is it safe to jack up on the oil pan with a block of wood????

Any other sujestions would be greatly appreciated, i need the car up really high cause im doing a AOD to TKO swap

Not familiar with the k member since i dont have one[:@]. You got subframe connectors, you could do it in steps to get it that high. I'm sure someone will chime in with a better way since you have the member. The way your talking would work but i'd find another way i think.

i wouldent jack it from the oil pan, thats atleast 1500+lbs on the pan.....


i feel your pain, i only have one floor jack, whitch lifts to max height of 16inchs........ and being a vert, theres all kinds off goofy crap under there you cant jack on[:'(]

best bet is a block of wood between your frame rail and the jack itself, and put the jack stands under the control arms

Lol I saw the after math of someone who jacked up their mini van using the oil pan. The jack just popped right through the oil pan lol.

go between the control arms with a 4x4 block of wood and then jack it up link that
