Default NEW GUY

hey i have a 1987 mustang gt ive got:
89 5-speed computer,
edlebrock heads,
B303 cam,
1.72 rockers,
3.55 gears,
world class T-5,
GT40 upper/ lower intake,
70mm mass air and TB,
SSC headers,
aluminum radiator
and drive shaft,
2.5 ' high flow cats,
2 chamber flow master mufflers,
155 lph in-tank
and 255 lph in-line fuel pumps,
24 lb injectors,
fuel pressure regulator,
air/fuel gauges,
lakewood traction bars,
center force heavy duty clutch
and adjustable clutch quadrant.
Subframe connectors,
new oil pump and
double timing chain.
Now i want to take of the smog pump but i dont know which is best ... to replace it with a pulley or get a shorter belt?
also what do u guys think about takin off the fan and replacing it with an electric fan good move?

replace it with a pulley so you don't get belt stretch by tring to bypass it and eventually the two ends rub together shreading the belt.......done it both ways..pulley works best ...see:

I just ordered the smog pump delete pulley...didn't even think of doing a shorter belt. D'OH![:@]

Electric thingys are always wonderful to have, IMO. I've got my eye on an electric water pump....

cool!! yeah I got tired of the look without it and after 2-3 month the belt would stretch and trust me there was no in between belt with my set up / meziere elec water pump that'd work..so finally I just bought the pulley for the clean look and it cured the belt stretch/touching issue

How much did your pulley set ya back? I just paid $75.[:@][:@][:@]

I'm thinkin of doing the A/C delete next...don't really need A/C in Colorado.
