I have a good opportunity to buy another mustang. 99GT 5sp with 03 cobra wheels 3.73 gears and an X pipe.

engine only has 5k miles on it(newly rebuilt) tranny is perfect working order, and everything works on it.


he only wants 5k for it....think its a good buy? whats your opinions on teh 99GT 4.6??




side note: im keeping the fox but i need another daily drive, i ditched the 05' F150 i had

 

That a good deal...almost seems too cheap. I had a 01GT... the engines sound so nice and eventhe stock exhaust has a nice rumble at idle. I like how the 4.6 hasits power in the low rpm band.

 

yea it seems cheap but ive been friends with this kid for 5 years and he's owned it since the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

but now he has kids n $hit and house blah blah blah, cant afford everything and kids dont fit in it well....so hes selling it.

 

Nothing like another GT to supplement the Fox as a daily driver.

5grand why so cheap,why new motor? how many miles? what condition? if it is a legit deal i would snag it up for sure as i am kinda lookin at a newer stang for a dd the lifted dodge ram i drive only gets 12 mpg[:'(]

 

cheap because he needs to ditch it for down payment on a newer car (family car) new motor because he took it to the track, first run ever down the track and bent a connecting rod. orginally had 115k miles before that happened. motor only 5k miles on it now. tranny works perfectly. body is flawless since he neighbor cam home drunk one night and dragged is f150 across the side of the car. so all new body work and the whole entire car was painted last year.

the kid i know has owned it since 98 when it came out, he drive the car like its supposed to be driven, he doesnt beat it to hell. ive driven it a lot myself too, i really like the way it feels

interior is leather. some small cracks in teh back seat. zero rust on the outside. coil packs and clutch were replaced 10k miles ago.

 

well $hit then i would probably buy it then for that price got any pics?
