Since the time of doing the H/C/I my egr had not been working. The check engine light would always be on. Well yesterday i was messing with it and connented the vacumm for the egr. The car would be cammin more(sounds nicer ), it does hesitate in take off but when rpms are above 2k and punch it really takes off. Did the egr do all this change or maybe i should consider in removing it completly.

 

at idle the vaccum line to egr should not have vaccum applied to it.....what code is in it/stored for egr??? may have a bad selonoid or incorrect vaccum line routing valve..manifold vac goes to selonoid and selonoid line to valve..if it has vac always to valve..may have bad valve/stuck open or control circuit in ecm and or control side shorted to ground holding selonoid open
