As I was driving home today from the paint shop i heard a tapping from inside the valve cover. It was the polylock hitting the valve

cover, it was loose. I opened it up and took the pushrod out and it was bent. So i need to buy a new set but dont know what to buy,

i had the stock one's which i belive are 6.25 in. lengh and 5/16 in diameter. My mods are in the SIG if they are needed.

 

But what bent it is the real question

 

The pushrod bent because there was too much play between the rocker and the pushrod.

 

generally push rods get bent cause something siezed or bound

 

I had the stock push rods, my question is should i stay with the stock size or different. Also whats the size for the stockers.

 

there is no need to change length unless you really wanna "f" the geometry up and cause probs...stock length is all you need to replace bent one = 6.250......go to your local parts store and order one and it's 5/16

 

Well im thinking in checking it now because when i did my h/c/i i never checked the geometry.
