start with sand in the fuel tank and water in the oil pan because if i remember right a pglide is a 2spd auto from mid 50 to early 60s

the Powerglide is a very strong, very efficient, very useful transmission.... Especially considering R.barn has a 351w based TWIN TURBO car!
you S197 guys are all the same.

They are still a 2 speed and probably just like old ones you remember....very useful and commonly used in drag cars.
