impact sockets

Default impact sockets

im looking for a 1/2 inch 12-point socket for my 3/4 drive impact wrench. i cant seem to find them anywhere. hopefully one of you guys could tell me where to find one (or a set). thanks in advance.

Sears... you can just get a craftsman set. I bought two sets from there (6piece each) and I think they were like 60 or 80 bucks. They're pretty expensive but well worth it.

i went there earlier today and they dont carry 12 point impact sockets. they only have 6 point.

maybe it varies from store to store because they had a lame selection of only a handful of 6 points. i asked the guy at the counter and he said that they dont carry 12 point impact sockets. and ya...i was at sears.

I was thinking the exact same thing. A 3/4 drive gun produces way more torque than a bolt with a 1/2" head can take. It'll just break the head off if it's stuck in there.

Smallest socket I was able to find way a 9/16".

At least he's looking for an impact socket, and not using regular ones. That's how about 90% of sockets get broken.
