so i have to replace the clutch pretty soon, i just got done doing the clutch cable.

but what would you guys recommend for a nice performance clutch

+1 on spec or centerforce. I run a centerforce and love it!

 

any chance that fixing the clutch will fix my 3rd gear grinding

or should i just have them do the syncronizers while their at it?

 

What is it with black foxes and grinding 3rd gear? .

Mine is grinding in third as well. I put in a new clutch cable and a new King Cobra ... still grinding. I'm thinking either the clutch wasn't put in properly or something. I'm also thinking of changing it to a Spec clutch. But then I'd hate to change that and it's still grinding. I like the KC Clutch btw.

 

i did not like my kc pedal was to stiff

my spec stage 1 is chattering like a son of a bitch,granted it is new but do not like plus pedal is too stiff for my liking even with the firewall adj.

 

i forgot to add that a centerforce is well liked in the 5.0 world and will be my next clutch purchase

 

Not mine. In fact it's softer than other mustang clutches that's I've drove.

 

I like my King Cobra so far.....less stiff than the stock one, and I bang my gears daily
