Default starting problem

There seems to be some kind of prblem with my sarter. My battery is fine however sometimes when i get in my car push the clutch in and turn the key iot does nothing. i keep turning time after time and eventually it finally turns the starter. im thinking there may be something loose with the starter so if anyone has any ideas what it could be let me know. THANKS

Default RE: starting problem

Ignition switches are a common fault on Fox body cars.
Use a test light/voltmeter to see if you actually have voltage going to the starter solenoid,
when you turn the key.
You also can check the neutral safety switch (on the clutch pedal bracket).
Less likely but still possible.

I checked the clutch safety switch it seems to be fine...and the soleniod is getting power and i cleaned off all the connections on it but it still takes like 10 tries before it cranks sometimes? maybe solenoid is going bad?
