The car has gone through many changes before the final product you se here. The engine was originally going to be pretty plain with the Ford racing covers and plain aluminum, but once the paint color was picked out, "Grabber Orange", the motor had to be changed, so I called Mike at Killer Paint and we worked out a plan and theme.
It is a Dart iron eagle block, 363ci stroker, Canfield heads, edelbrock super victor 2 intake and elbow, full aeromotive fuel system, Hellion single turbo kit with T76 dual ball bearing turbo. We havent tuned it yet, but looking to put in about 15-18psi. I am a little nervouse how much the trans is going to take it. It is a TKO600 with heavy duty 26 spline input and a stage III 800lb ft clutch. Fully built 8.8 with 3:73 gears and 31 spline axles, swarr bar. Full tubular front and rear UPR suspension, Aerospace billet brakes. We are looking for mid to low 10's on the 18" FR500's, but hopefully mid 9's on the slicks. It is a full street car daily driver, no trailer queens here.

Well, unfortunately the car will not be done until late July, so I will not be at the NMRA event in July with the car. If your ever in El Paso you can check out the car at THR. The car will be showed locally and raced by them every once in a while.

yeah those v covers and tube look sick i live about 10 miles from his shop and my old machine shop is in his parking lot and i have seen some sick looking cars come out of that shop. that guy is awesome

 

i would say on that motor u described and if indeed 15-18 psi i would sat 700 rwhp easily as their are too many things to say if it is more or less never the less gonna be a sweet ride man.

i want to see more pics and some video of that thing when done and a dyno slip
