Default e or b cam

whatcam do you think would be a better choice for all around power (acceleration and top end) an e or b cam? I picked those two cams cause i dont have to worry about the ptv. It is going onto a 1998 5.0 explorer engine with the gt40p heads, i have mac gtp headers on it and an xpipe, flowmaster mufflers and it is a 5speed

There are better choices than the alphabet cams.

agreed. But if you were choosing btwn the two... your bcam is gonna sound like the car is stalling out - but its really not - And i like that sound.. ROUGH

Steeda # 18 for Foxbodies and Steeda # 19 for Sn-95s. Relatively the same specs as the B cam, but much better technology in them.

If you must go with a ford cam then I would suggest the (B) cam. If you are open to other cams, I would suggest the TFS stage 1.

choosing a cam based on ptv is not wise...better to choose one based on combo goals
