some vandals stopped by my house last night and egged my car scratching the paint on the decklid(the part with the most perfect paint...[:@]) and chucked a rock at the driver side window... luckily it did not break, it put a nasty scuff in it however...

no way to get rid of the scuff... my grandpa who has worked installing windows in highrises for 30 years came by to check it out and told me there is nothing I can do...


how much would a window cost me? gonna try MPS or Cj's salvage yard....

the local pick your part doesnt have many verts... hell they hardly have any foxes worth picking through

you should be able to find that glass fairly cheap. check craigslist first. i couldent see you paying more than 20.00 bucks for window glass there are people all over parting out stangs not like u need the whole door just the glass

 

I am hoping to spend no more than 30 bucks.... if Cjs says too high of a price, I'll decline.. the major benefit of getting it off of them is I'll be at their show this saturday.

also have to call the local stealership to see if they can get me touchup paint.... its prolly a longshot and wont get me anywhere but never hurts to ask...


someone else on my block got hit the same way, and their window got busted out. I am counting my graces, as it coulda been far worse, my tires, >8month old top, 3 day old seats, coulda been extremely bad... my mom called the cops, as all I had time to do was hose the egg off my car and hit it with my quick detailer and then peel out to work this morning.... thank god my boss is a paitent person....



on a brighter note, this incident finally convinced the parents that my car needs to be garage kept. so now I get the other side of the garage next to my mom's stang.

and my tri-ax handle finally came, thank god.

I know[] I dont bother anyone either... its always those stupid little fuggers who are jealous... this marks #3, well bad luck comes in threes, so hopefully its over... some punk kids just rolling through the neighborhood... lots of "trash" have been moving in lately... exessively speeding down my street blasting profane music...

I dont talk to many people in my community, I dont even know my neighbor's name mostly cuz I am never home...


the interior is "finished", the seats are all in, the carpet is cleaned, my tri-ax is repaired and she is ready to go...


always thought the power lumbar was shot in the pass seat... it was just unplugged[&:]
all I have left is some minor crap all in good time tho,

Ash tray door, cracked door handle cups (getting billit ones on saturday) seat belt sleeves, rear seat bezel and some interior dye...

some a$$hole smashed my passenger side window at school and stole my snowboard along with my sub and various other things.. had to drive 20min home in 30 degree weather with no window...

insurance replaced for free

 

Honestly why do people do this? What goes around comes around though...sorry to hear that man.
