Default question about control arms

If I were to get new aftermarket upper/lower control arms, would I need to change them out if I were to ever convert the car to a coilover suspension?

thanks

Depends Bill??? what type do you have in mind??? some companies like D&D OFFER lowers for use with stock springs on the front.. do you intend to convert the rear to coil over???..if so you really should plan for the future and buy a specific kit for such......my front is coilover and works great!!!.....anyway..great meeting you and talking with you yesterday!! sorry I had to run but the wife and the little one were getting restless and having a little one at a place like that really put a damper on the day[:@]......anyway..your car looked great!!!

thanks for the compliment, it was great meeting you too, and your car looks sweet, the pearl really looks nice in the sunlight[8D].my buddy liked it too, (he doesnt know a thing about cars) he liked the way your motor looked

I do eventually want to convert the car to a full coilover setup, but that is a few years off, as I wont be making good money until after I graduate college, 2 more years to go!![8D]racing in a straight line is fun, but I just love taking a car through the twisties...

I'll check out D&D, MM, Pa Racing and Steeda and see what they offer. would like to also get rid of my quads so I can eventually squeeze a 17x10 rim back there somehow.

but subframe connectors are the next item on the modification list
