head questions [please help]

should i go stock port polished, and 5 angled. gt40x same. or just get a new set. if id do buy a new set i'm going all out.
trick flo twisted wedge cnc ported, but thats pricey. and what should i go with to get the most out of the heads you reccomend
as in injectors? fuel pump ?x or h pipe.i have shorty headers. no intake so advise on that would help also.

any aluminum head>GT40's>E7's. I wouldnt spend a dime porting E7's its just not worth it.But it depends on budget aluminum will make the most power but are the most expensive. Id suggest saving up and doing at least the cam if not the camand the intake with the heads that way you dont have to keep tearing it down. And yes you will need bigger injectors and a mass air meter after the swap

they just seem to be the best. i want to run low 12s by the time i am done, but kep as a daily driver to work and back. when i am driving more than 10 miles from the house i drive my other car.

for low 12's = exhaust , gears, sticky tires, all the bolt ons you can do and H/C/I AND HAVE IT dyno tuned and you should be well to your goal

i don't know what to look for in tires(brands size ect) without breaking the bank too much.
and what is h/c/i/ i'm guessing heads cam and intake.

^^^^ yes heads,cam and intake and tires a nitto or mickey thompson drag radials for the rear .

thanks guys alot of help... one more ques x or h pipe. and i mean tru x pipe. a friend says no difference but i have a feeling he is holding me back. because he wants to go against me on the track. i want to catch him off guard. he knows i am new to 5.0's. he has x cam not sure witch one ragged motor. roller rockers. high presure water pump. ele fan, straight pipes,and aod with 2800 rpm hold backon tranny,
he ran alot of nos in it. it is carb not fuel inj. i want to give him a run because he is cocky. it would be funny.
