got an older style 302 wondering if i could put a roller solid cam in it and it be okay for street driving D/D and would i have to adjust alot? HP increase?

unless you plan do do high rpm the hydraulic roller would serve you just fine for street use and you'd need special expensive conversion lifters

well i was wondering if i could built more pwer with the solid but i really dont wanna pay 800 dollars for the conversion to hydralic roller from flat tappet? it be worth?

Between the solid roller cam, lifters and springs you're going to have close to the same amount. For a street car you need something like the crower HIPPO lifters that have pin oiling for the roller. Most roller lifters are designed to be oiled just by splash. Doesnt happen much when you're idling in traffic. They run $350+ for the comp cams lifters and over $600 a set for the crowers.
