i was told that it scrubs alot going around corners....but my neighbor has a full spool in his 5.0 and falcon and they dont chirp, scrub or anything. so i still might go this route.

thats all the info i have.

yea, all it does lock the two axels ...so straight lines are fine...corners is all you have to worry about.

it is not okay for DD unless u like ur car shaking/hoping around any corner more that 90 degrees. my friend had 35 splines in a ford 9 inch with a spool in his 2000 trans am. he went through a set of BFG drag radials in 250 miles. brand new to cord in 250 miles. if you want a spool u need to run slicks so the inside tire will slip a little bit when u turn since ur rear end wont be doing the slipping

Won't the bind do damage/wear out parts fast if you DD with a spool? The stress on those axles will be intense especally during a U-turn!

it will freak you out the first time you do any turning, the chevelle has a locker, and it had slicks when we got it, and they spun easily, so it didnt act like it, them i put the street tires on, backd out of my driveway, and started to turn and it clunked and i thought i broke something

if its your DD, or you want to do some cornering, i wouldnt do it, but thats me, its a pain
