347 TUNE
I am looking at getting my 347 tuned in the next month or so, they guy who does tunning and has several mustangs said to give him 350.00 and he'll order the chip that I need that will hold a few different tunes and it would take around 2 weeks for the chip to come in. Is this in the ball park for a chip? A buddy of mine said it seems a little high but they guy from what I have seen from his car and some other mustangs he's tuned with turbo's and what not he's pretty good. My car runs good but something iswrong because it falls down sometime if I really get on it around 4000 RPM's when it gets to operationg temperature. He did say thought it just needs to be tuned and the little kinks and bugs work out and the computer adjusted to everything that I have and what not. My questions is I am not famillar with the electronic part with the computers and what not but what are the best brands and the simpliest to understand so I can learn and start tunning my own car.

RE: 347 TUNE
I'd make sure the car is running properly before tune at 4000 rpm falling flat...it's hard to tell what the issue is without going for a ride but it could be fuel or spark related and not knowing the complete build creates a big unknown too
