Default TKO 600 problems..

This tranny used to shift like butter but I went to the strip on saturday and couldnt hit 3rd gear to save my life, I used to be able to chirp it all day long.. I tried mulitple clutch adjustments and no success. Im reading alot about upgraded shift lugs from tremec.. My main question what is the success rate of installing the upgraded lugs? Where are you all getting these lugs? Does anyone have any how-to's on putting them in?

the combo is aluminum bell, spec stage 2+, MM cable, MM quad, Fiore FWA

It seems more and more like thr Tremecs are having shifting issues. I suppose it's a sign of our times though, quality is just not what it used to be, on just about everything.

They used to send out the shift lugs for free for tranny's that were having problems. The problems were supposed to be limited to the earlier ones. What problems are you having goin into third. I know alot of people complain about third but it's usually a driver problem. If i try to go up and slightly to the lefti will grind between third and fifth all day. If i push straight up shifting from second to third it goes in effortlessly and i still have the stock tko shifter.

yea, from what i read, people pull the shifter to the right and up, like you would do on the t5 and it causes it to get blocked out on the tko's
push straight up and repost.

im not running a scatter shield, just an aluminum bell.. I removed the shift stops off the shifter and it seems to shift a little smoother
