Default 1991 5.0 black Notchback

I just got a 1991 black 5.0 notchback for my 31st birthday from the wife. The engine runs well right now. I don't want to be some clown and bolt on ridiculous horsepower that is just going to make my engine explode. I was thinking about adding to the 302 I have now or just getting a whole new engine. I'd really like to take the car all the way in a tasteful fashion. I personally don't need more than 350 Horsepower, but I would be happy with anything from 300-350. I want the engine to very reliable while still having enough power to have fun. Over time I will be repainting the car and taking out minor dings as well as a new suspension setup, wheels, tires and brakes. I will be driving it around town and maybe in 100 mile intervals, all just for pleasure of course. I have cars as daily drivers, but would like to be able to use it like a daily driver. In the end, I just want an extremely clean and reliable 5.0 that runs well. Can you guys help me? I have about $3600 to spend right now. What you you do with this budget? I will have more money later but would like to know suggestions to build the 302 solid that I have now or new engine suggestions.

My stang is beautiful? Thanks man, I likes it too. Its all stock and immaculate on inside. Exterior is perfect too. Only minor things like a couple tiny centimeter dings and the trim needs replaced. Other than that its perfect, even paint is original. I'll probably repaint same color.
