which oil?

Default which oil?

with 130k can i switch to part synthetic oil? ive added a synthetic additive before. ive heard of doing so can make oil leaks worse!

well ive got 150,xxx miles on my car and i use mobil1 full synthetic it works great

look if its leaking with normal oil it will leak with synthetic it only leaks worse because the synthetic doesnt break down and get gummed up like normal oil it stays more free moving longer and it moves easier. so the leaks wont stop but they might get alittle worse. but a leak is a leak it wont just get fixed untill you fix it.

ya if u have leaks now either fix them and put synthetic or dont put synthetic cuz they might get worse. ive got 130K ON MY 93 I JUST RUN REGULAR CASTROL GTX 20w-50 i kno its thick but the car likes it. just get urself a good quality oil and ur good to go no need for synthetic.
