Default timing

what will the timing be set at with the E-303 cam I'm gonna try and time it right 2nite if anybody can help

10 deg. would be stock...you can go higher then that with super unleaded...timing = power

well the problem is that it just gradually gets warmer 180* this mornin (usually just 170*) switched to under the hood this mornin when I got to school and done pretty good but I drove it about 5 mi. and it got up to about 190* now I know that's not hot but I figure if I drive it more than 30 mi. or so it will run hot and I usually don't go over 60 and I'm just trying to figure out why it would do it

could be alot of things, hows your radiator flowing, what about your fan, does it seem like the t-stats sticking or does it open like it should

fan works good rads brand new(stock oem from advance) t-stat is a 160* and does like it should

what about the water pump, does it show good flow through the radiator when the t stat is open

Perhaps you have an air pocket in the cooloing system?
