Talking engine purchase

Hey guys i've been trying to find a pretty much half built block... I want a 331 stroker and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase one without heads or intake... pretty much just the pistons, cam but no top end stuff... everywhere i go has whole engines... and i need a block capable of withstanding atleast 500 hp... thanks all!

500 + horsepower to be reliable should be used with an aftermarket block

You have 2 choices stock block, aftermarket block. Disregard any fancy terms or claims, a stock block is a stock block. They can handle 500hp, keep the rpm low, dont rattle it, no detonation is absolutely critical to longevity. If the caps walk around and chatter it will crack period.

i think boss would be just fine. as long as you don't mind waiting i'd have the block sent to fordstrokers (woodsy) and he'll set you up with the internals. by the way what your looking for is called a short block, with a cam. you can't beat his prices when you look into the quality and service your getting with it.
