Default Busted Sway Bar Question

My apartment complex is notorious for it's massive speed bumps. Even rolling over them at a snail-like crawl causes a violent *KACHUNK* from my poor 5.0. Today while going over a particularly nasty one I heard a slamming sound come from under my car, and every time I went over a speed bump I hear another slam. I parked and looked under my car to try and see what the problem was, and I noticed that the end-link for the sway bar on the driver's side was broken where the bar meets the end-link.

Could this be the cause of the noise? The snapped end link banging onto the bar as I go over the bumps? Any other ideas what it could be?

I appreciate your input.

Yes, thats a common problem with the stock swaybars, and that was your noise. I had the same thing, only mine came completely off.

I bought a new Summitracing swaybar, and it works well, but the mounting bolts are too long and when the axle articulates too much, they rub the frame. Im fixing this prob this weekend with new C/As

Yup, I have a endlink that is busted because I broke it trying to get the nut off the bottom. Now the sleeve is also stuck so I have to cut it off when I can get it in my garage. It hits my control arm whenever I hit a bump or go around a turn.
