2000+ camaro with a good driver should beat you in a quarter. if not, do a cam or head swap or both and you wouldnt stand a chance anymore driver mod or not.

even sticky tires on a stock 2000 camaro should beat you easy. the only thing you have going for you is gears. unless you have HCI or a power adder not listed in your sig.

Exclamation

this is the camaro he wants...1999 Chevy Camaro Z28 6spd manual LS1 with t-tops. 96k miles. SS upgrades includingBrand new Falken tires and 17" SS alloy wheels. BMR boxed lower control arms and custom engineering sub-frame connectors make for a very tight, smooth suspension. Hi-performance stainless SLP exhaust installed with Borla muffler, quad tip dual exhaust. Rare Richmond T56 6speed manual transmission, and hi-po LS1 350ci all aluminum motor. Power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, A/C, 4-wheel disc brakes. This car has been very well maintained. Had 30k, 60k, and just performed a 90k mile tune-up on it with MSD plug wires. Oil changed every 3k with syntehtic. Rearend factory rebuilt at 60k with 4:10 gears

would i stand a chance once i get my heads ported and my cam?

I raced a guy here in town with a 2000 z28 with a supercharger he had a automatic tranny with a shift kit in it. We ran the quater from a dead stop and he got left by at least 6 cars he could have let off though when I got too far ahead. From the role it wasn't so bad but he didn't have enough. He went and told everyone I had some hidden nitrous....just a ford racing 347 that then wasn't even running right.....(upgrade in the process....)
