right now the auto repair and sales industry has followed the current downward trend/turn of the economy, 1-2 years ago a good week for me on average was 50-60 hrs now 35+ is a good week.......as far as wyotech.....they are a good school but expensive....you'd be better off staying local with LINCOLN TECH OR UTI....as far as starting salary...it can range 30-40k starting for entry level tech
ok well my school is free thats y i wanted to go there right now i make about 35000 in the the navy the big thing is that i have 3 kids and the medical is very good in the navy
that is the one i was goin to go to in pa i just dont want to get out and then not make it in the real world it wouldnt be that big of a deal if i didnt have kids
well hopefully by the time your done your schooling the auto industry will be back up on it's feet again...if you wish to make it in the auto industry as a tech .....seek after credentials such as all your certifications and such to make yourself marketable and a desirable asset to a bussiness, MY goal has been to learn as much as I can from all the schools I have attended to make myself a better tech, the papers that go with it are just that!!..they look good to a potential employer. I have tons of certs but the goal is just to be a better tech
if that's what you enjoy doing as it is what I enjoy doing too then go for it!! I get far more enjoyment out of working with my hands then anything......grant it, I'll never be a millionaire, but at least when I look at my ride it is a representation of my hard work and own doing, not a result of a fat pocket book
