Default Exhaust and Headers

Hey everyone,
I'm planning on upgrading my stock exhaust and adding some headers and just wanted to see what some good combinations are. So any input would be appreciated. Thanks

bbk makes decent shorty headers and grab and x or h pipe while at it and a 2 1/2 cat back and be on your way to fun

Some good coated headers, BBK O/R H-pipe, and Flowmaster 40 series cat-back.

Nothin' better sounding than a classic Mustang rumble.

I'm thinking of doing the same over the winter, and what MJR said is probably your best bet.

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of long tubes and shorties? I'm planning on BBK long tubes with an o/r x pipe and then most likely a custom catback, not sure of what mufflers yet but that doesn't matter much.

My build plans are a 306 with ported/rebuilt E7 heads, X-303 cam, BBK SSI intake, 70mm TB and other little goodies. The car's a manual trans if that makes any difference and will be a daily driver with occasional Friday night visit to the track. Any input would be greatly appreciated
