quad shock

Default quad shock

i'm doing the rear suspension on my mustang, and i am going to replace the shocks while i am there, and i was wondering if i should replace the quad shock. the control arm kit says to leave them off. can you guys give me the pros and cons of them. any input apreciated

if you have better upper c/a's you can ditch them. then it would allow you to run a wider tire and lose a little weight. the stronger upper c/a's will do their job for them.

Is it the upper ca that allow the removal of the quads? I was under the impression it was the lowers.

both of them help but i thought it was mainly the uppers :/
