I know this is not the right spot was not sure where to post well anyways does anyone know where i can find a hood with atlease 2.5 inch cawl for a 81 mustang lx i have looked everywhere can not find crap!!!!

thanks seems kind of spending though but i guess that is alright if any one know where to find one alittle cheaper it would be cool but thanks alot

that hood isnt too expensive compared to cervinis or Harwood...

remember you get what you pay for, and I'd rather pay more up front for a quality hood that needs little to no prep than buy a cheapo, have to do alot to get it to look right, only to have it spider crack and look like garbage a year down the road...

^ my hood is a cheaper hood, and you can see a few thinner spots/ its not perfect, but it was on the car when I bought it

ive heard fiber trends has decent prices and good quality. i personally dont know. but yea you'll find them new for 300+ for the most part.

Thanks i looked did not have one for my car that is the problem and as far as going through someone that is not perfect that is alright because my brother is a body guy he has been for many years so he can fix it i just really do not want to spend to much since i am already on a tight budget.

yea i called them and talked i can get it for 5 with shipping not to bad i guess and they also have the four inch cawl so ithink iwill go with that one inless anyone has any better ideas thanks for all the help!!
