How much would you pay?
Eh, I got off the phone with him an hour ago and send him this email just now.
Hey,
I was wondering a few other things as well. Where are you located? I'm in Barnegat, exit 67 off the parkway. Due to the extent of the damage, I would have to get it towed down to me. That's not a problem considering its the new year and our AAA tows just got refreshed. Also, what body style mustang is it? LX Coupe, LX hatch, or GT?
Now, I could come up later today with 500$ cash and would take the car home tonight, or even tomorrow. I'm not trying to low-ball you or your brother or anything, but honestly, mint condition low mileage 5.0's sell for 3000$, with the average selling around 2250-2500. I bought my current 93 mustang for 400$ and it needed brakes, a battery, new tires, and the paint was in bad condition.
I go back to school on the 5th, and would love to buy it before then. I can come up today or tomorrow and take it off your hands.
Also, is there anything your interested in? I have a couple things I'm trying to get rid of. First is a 1996 mazda 626 with 100k miles on it, some dents and scratches in the paint. Also if your into paintball at all, I have some real high end equipment I'm trying to get rid of.
Anyways, thanks man. Let me know what you think
Sincerely,
Matt Lowe

I'd tell him no thanks, leave him your phone number in case he comes to his sences and keep looking. I bought a totally rust free 85 Notch and drove it home 125 miles for 2700 dollars. I sold the engine, transmission and other stuff and recouped around 700.00 so I ended up with a rust free, straight body with good paint (although it getting a color change) for 2000 dollars. I still have a few more hundred dollars worth of stuff left to sell
i dont understand why you have to have a 93? if you're wanting a 5.0 motor you can get any donor mustang with a 5.0 89-92 would be your best bet. you get your harness, set up for efi and mass air, notched pistons, forged internals and a better stock head than the e6's that are pre 86(i think)
'93 has those hyper pistons which everyone seems to not be fond of.
