Default Project 347 redo

Well 2009 has arrived as well as the new goals for the 85.......so Saturday I went into work at 6.am and by 1.p.m.....I had the motor out and disassembled and all parts cleaned up and ready for reassemble when the time is right..........This was the toughest motor yank I have ever done on the 85.....cause not a thing was wrong with it!!.....all in the name of mo' powa'!!!!.....Cam is being swapped, some intake mod as well as head mods possibley and carb revision, so you ask why pull the motor for such....my moroso pan that I litterally glued on with the right stuff makes it necessary plus I don't wish to lean over the fenders and work in the nicely painted engine bay....with that said I pulled the motor....hopefully by mid FEB it's back on the road and ready for track action in march or april.....here are some pics...not very exciting but you get the idea

I don't think they are having drag days this year. It looks like its just going to be test and tune days.

Looks like fun.

How did the right stuff do for you ? When i sealed up my teachers oil pan I also used the right stuff, it held. And I resealed a rear end with it. And I'm trying to decide on what to use when resealing the mustangs rear end this spring.
