Well if you are buying a off road H-pipe they will usually have a small tube built in for your smog tube to connect to.
vvvvvvv

If you are having a H-pipe fabricated by a local exhaust shop then I would just remove your smog pump and all its attachments. I'm assuming you don't not have to pass smog or inspection in your area.

You should have a rubber tube already running from your smog pump to your H-pipe if you have a stock midpipe in there.

I'd get a smaller belt and ditch the pump.

I had my trucks exhaust done, and now the air pump just dumps into the atmosphere, and the damn thing humms like a ****, next on my list is a shorter belt so it doesn't operate anymore...

Its not that easy there my friend. If you try that you can't run the tensioner and then you can't get the belt on. That is why you see people with compressors that are unhooked but still in the belt route. Get a a/c delete for like $45 and then have fun .

God, I can't wait to make that damn air pump stop, it's ridiculous, once the motor hits the rpm range the exhaust comes in, the noise from the damn pump drones it out. ERGGG

is it the p/s pump that you can bypass instead of the a/c
