BS or not?
I was wondering what you all thought about following two cars and they're claimed numbers.

I find both these to be hard to believe. The youtube video I can see being true with a great set of worked heads, large custom cam and custom intake. They don't give the h/c/i specs.

Look at what afr did with those heads that car craft tested.http://www.airflowresearch.com/95mustang_dyno.php I know car craft is flywheel hp and afr is rwhp but you are not going to lose that much hp through the powertrain.
better fuel, LT headers, solid lift cam. I beat you could get close to 400 hp.
The holley and trick flow top end kits are 350 hp. My buddy has a 331 with the holley top end LT headers and makes 330 rwhp smog legal in CA. well besides the LT

I can see the ProStock motor making that power because its a built race motor and it is irrelevant compared to the type of street motors we build and are familiar with.
But 400hp and stock cam. Whats going on with Car Craft and their dyno?

What they fail to mention and some things that may have been over looked in Video #1
The car only weighs 2850 pounds with driver. Thats some serious weight reduction. Next is it say "Stock cam" What they prob fail to mention is the cam has stock lift but the rest of the cam specs have been manipulated. is they prob have the lifters lashed with .010 turning that hyd roller into a solid roller. Trust me that it's possible to port a set of heads in the critical areas and pass them off as non ported. Winng in staock classes all boils dow who can cheat the best without being caught.
Now as for the next test it's totally beleiveable. AFR makes a great head but when they run them on an engine dyno they don't have a parasitic load. Electric water pump, no alternator. no belt, PS, AC or any other crap. It has a Velosity stack sitting on the carb with a constant coolant temp and the exhaust is almost always optimal. Dyno test should just be used as a tuning tool and not represent what goes under the hood. But like has already been said is you dont bite the hand that feeds you. When AFR post a half page add or bigger in your magazine each and every month you don't make them look bad. As far as I'm concerned they build the best street head made so far but it took more than just the heads to make that power.

the guy has some money into his set up. its not a stock cam, TEA heads, a good intake, AND suspension
