I would run no wider than a 255

But I would buy some 245/60/15, they are about 26.5 tall and 9.6 wide. I ran some 255/60/15 MT on a set of 10 holes and they fit fine but are 27" tall.

Thanks, from what I have calculated I may run 245/55's. That way they are about the same height as what I have now and about the same of the 17" wheel/tire kit I want down the road

No it doesn't rub as of right now, it is missing the hatch so the car doesn't have the full weight. It clears the quads too.

Nope, the suspension is completely stock and the fenders havn't been touched.....yet. After I get the hatch on it and the drivetrain in it will drop down a good inch at least. I don't like how big they are. But I can't complain, they are almost new tires and came with the car. I only paid $450 for it.

I had a set of 275/60s on mine, and they rubbed on bumps and around turns...... But currently, I have a set of 26x10in slicks mounted on some and they work fine...

^those are only 26 inches tall though. The 275/60s are 28 inches tall so I would expect them to rub if I was to lower it.

Crazy that they fit. They look like ballons though.
