I have heard from some not so reliable sources that not all fox body mustang wings are interchangeable between the years. I know that a conv. spoiler wont go to a hatch and vise versa, but are all hatch spoilers interchangeable? thanks in advance for your help

 

on a hatch an lx spoiler mounts differently than a gt spoiler. i know that for a fact. i just went thru this. had to drill some new holes and fill the ones from the old lx spoiler.

 

hatch works on hatch only verts and notch only work on vert and notch

I got another question, dont want to start a new thread because it deals with the body. What would I need to go from a 4 eye front end to the Aero front end? Will the front bumper just mount up and throw the headlights in? or do I have to replace the Fenders also? Are the hoods all interchangeable between all fox-body stangs? or are they year specific? Thanks in advance for helping a newbie to the fox body mustang

 

Keep it 4 eye in my opinion.

Im Just wondering what it would take to convert over. I like the gt front end of the Aero style, I think it just has a mean look to it. The GT front bumper with the side skirts and rear bumper gives it that low look that is real aggressive. Is it easily done or would I have to weld and cut stuff? I just wanna know so if I come across a cheap setup I can snag it up and use it.
