Has anyone tinted their own windows? Is it something a Do it youselfer could do? How much would it cost to have the window done in my car by a professional?

professionally in the mustang i wouldnt pay more than 120.

ive done my own tint. if you are kind of crafty you can do it yourself. i messed up one sheet my first time cause it was purely experiment. but ive tinted my old 98 stang and ive tinted some friends cars. not too hard and there are lots of free instructional videos online so you can actually watch someone do it.

Yeah I have look online for instruction but they make it seem somewhat complicated but I don't think it can be that bad. I might experiment on my truck.

If you don't mind scrapping a few sheets of tint and a fair amount of time while you're trying to figure it out it's okay.

I would just pay the $100-$150 for a perfect job, with a warranty, and no headache.

A lot of people up here use that to black out their headlights/tailights. They just go over it just barely with some 1500 and then they spray that stuff on lightly, it looks decent

i just don't like the idea of someone else messing with my vehicle, thats why I was thinking about doing it myself.
