hey guys, i'm getting a computer to convert my 86 to mass air, but i have to pull it out of a parts car, can anyone tell me where the computer is located in a 91 gt.

do u know what all i need to convert to mass air. anything else other than a9l,pigtail harness,and mass air meter.

Convert to mass air?? ...If your Mustang is a '91 5L it already is factory mass air!! Also, disconnect the battery before removing the computer!

 

I think he is probably removing from a '91.

Your going to need the MAP sensor, Its on the fire wall near the driver side. I am not sure you can do this but you need to unhook the vacuum line that is on your car. Your car has a barometric sensor so unhooking the vac line might not work so grab the one off the 91 car.

 

you will need the maf sensor. maf housing, computer, wiring harness , maybe something else not sure, but you will need to searhc for a maf conversion instuctions cause you have to run some wires to like your fuel pump relay and a few more things
