suede
so I was thinking of possibly (among other things...) dyeing some of the int. panels black, cuz the white panels of the car look horrible...
wanna have everything black minus the seats, which will stay white, ala old school muscle cars.
now for the padded part of the dash, I wanted to possibly pull the vinyl off of it and recover it in suede, the shift boot and the arm rest on the console, and the same part for the "inserts" of the doors all in black/charcoal... I just think it would look sorta neat if I do it right.
does this sound like a good idea, or is suede bad for high wear areas? or would it look outright ghey?

I think it would be unique... but i don't really like the idea of a suede shift boot.... but thats just my personal opinion.
I like the idea though... might be something i'll do sometime... if you do it. PICS!

My personal opinion of "pimping" the interior of any mustang: it's like polishing a turd. Nobody's ever going to be fooled into thinking they're riding in a well made car. No matter what you do in there.....
Leave it stock. at least it's honest
