make sure the mesh filter is there and in place and I see your motor is out, if the engine was tired/ blowby occuring then the crankcase could of been pressurized amplifying issue at hand,

yeah the motors out cause the vibration i was getting. It only had like 3k miles on it. Could blowby cause a vibration, pistions and rings all looked good.

Also talked to my motor guy today and he said the motor was only a once off. he said nothing that should have cause a vibration like i was getting. Also he then balanced it with the pressure plate on and it was 6 grams off. I got him to check all rods and wrist pins he said all were fine. IDK what was causing this problem but i mentioned to him the timing chain was pretty tight, and he said hell take it slow assembling and see ifhe spots anything.

I had the same problem on my engine. It was caused by this.

The oil galley plug blew out.

I've been wondering that same thing. Why is it there? Other then keeping oil out of the intake I have no idea what Ford was thinking. Maybe it's for having the ability of cleaning the engine when you rebuild it.

Wouldn't it have the same effect if they just never made the hole?

lol. Seeing i dont have my motor, but can you put a second pass side valve cover (the one with the filler tube) on the drivers side? This way i could put two filters on the valve covers so it would allow alot more venting. That is if the upper intake would clear
