when I actually mold the grille into the bumper like 5.0 stanger did it will look 100% better, but for now she's just stuck on with the tape..

and excuse how dirty the car is... I want to go wash it but I think its gonna rain tonight...

here is where it sticks out a bit... I believe its due to the tape not being flush with the original bumper, and my crap hood..

eh, you sure you cut enough away so it sits correctly? whats contacting the grill to stop it from sitting all the way back?

its contacting the edges of where the factory opening is... I basically had to cut out the center bar and the ford emblem and then trim away the edges a bit...

had I gone any farther, and the tape would have no where to adhere...

but when I get home from school, which is basically a month and a half from now... its coming back off, and then glued/bondoed/molded on to the bumper and it will look like it was there from the beginning.

this kit is more designed for the GT nose than the LX...

That thing shouldn't stick out that far! You said you blamed it on the hood but the hood seems to line up flush with the fenders and headlights.

here is why it sticks out....

basically it is laying ontop of what wasnt cut off of the OE bumper... when I glue it on and smooth it out, it will get tucked into the factory location and not stick out...

I just "threw it on" because I wanted to "play" with my new toy...

the weather isnt warm enough for playing with bondo right now

I think the cobra's are all one piece...

Looks good Shelty! I think it'd look alright on my GT. I was thinking about getting it done before I get the car painted in May. Although the GT grill is rather bland, it's kinda grown on me, so I got about 2 months to make up my mind.
