Thread Lock manifold studs
Hey.
I was removing my upper track heat intake, and the studs from the lower turned out. Is it ok to red thread lock the studs into the lower to prevent this from happening in the future?

ahhh no you're thinking a different bolt than me.
I'm talking the STUDS that are in the lower intake that the upper intake bolts to. There are 4 studs in the top of the lower intake, the upper intake sits there and 4 nuts go on.

Why torque them down? the guy who gets it is just going to have to remove the nuts before he installs it. You don't want to thread lock the studs into the lower intake. If you ever have to remove the studs it may very well bring the threads out with it. On aluminum I use antiseize when putting steel bolts/studs into aluminum. The torque will keep them in place. Snug them down a little for shipping and send it on it's way.
