ok a lady i work with told me about a 98 gt 5sp that is for sale. she says the tranny is out of it and the person that owns it has no clue how to fix it and no one to help her do it so shes gonna just sell the car and buy another one. i can get it for like 500 bucks. i guess what i need to know is how hard are they to find trannys for and bout how much do they cost used.... any help would be great

IIRC the 98 GT used a T45. You should be able to pick one up failry cheap. Somewhere in the 500 dollar range

 

cool ... im thinkn about buyin it and fixn it for the wife ..... i dont see that i could get hurt for only 500 bucks if it runs good
