Default aod tranny ?

this is being a pain n my **** . my car had c4 tranny in it and where i live im playing hell to find a good c4 at reasonable price . i have found few aod's tho for bout 100 but my question is are those aod's electronic cause i dont think there is any plugs under my car there is one that i know of and that pluged right above speedo cable . and also would i have to change my flywheel again to a bigger one . when got car had 1 hell of a vibration to it and i had to get 157 tooth 50oz wieght flywheel and took away my vibrations . will that flywheel work on a aod torque converter ?

the only electrical plugs that I know of on an aod is the safety switch, but I don't know about the flywheel, but i think it might work

you just need the TV cables and tranny cooler for a AOD.

there POS imo.

cost me $2k for the AOD to 5speed swap with 90% new part's most stronger/better then stock including a Cobra T5 rated for 370hp.

there's nothing wrong with an AOD, nothing more than any other stock transmission when being abused. There is the Columbus Ohio spring swap meet coming up real soon. I'm sure you can find a C4 over there. I have a friend that has a full manual valve bodied AOD and that tranny is a beast. No detent cable needed. The only way to run an AOD. My father has a big mechanic shop in just outside of Columbus Ohio. I can check with him and see what he can locate a good C4 and for how much. Redneck Performance on Ebay builds on hell of a C4, comes with a converter also, shipped to your door for $1300 give or take. If you have the extra $ that is.
